The Pond Classic Grill in Truro

Pizza was meh...notthe best I have had. Garlic fingers were tastless.

Second Best pizza in the truro area, and donairs actually, only thing is the price of the pizza is high compared to every where else and they make you get pop with a pizza and garlic finger as the deal. Lower the price and drop the pop.. Alot of people don't even drink pop so it's just a waste to have in my household. The donairs are delicious but alot smaller compared to competition around truro. They should make a bigger size to compete with the rest, that's one of the only things holding me back from giving this place a 5 star rating. Food odds of good quality.

Their spaghetti sauce tasted like menstrual blood and ketchup...... eat at your own risk

Their food is quite delicious, especially for pub style foods. More often than not the waitresses are very friendly and accommodating.

Food is good pub food, pizza is good as well unfortunately not consistent in quality of cooked product. Depends on day and time.

Great service. Waitresses were prompt, attentive and good natured. Food was traditional pub fare that our party left very little of.

Food was good, service was awful. No drink menu, felt rushed and had to seek out bill at counter. Was not offered another beverage or refill to go with my food. Waitress did not want to be there at all and made that apparent.

Really good burgers! Awesome steaks and garlic fingers. Only one thing i didn't like was being nickel and dimed out of a buck just for a bit of hot sauce. Should be offered as a free condiment like ketchup.

The Pond is no longer open.

My last meal was take out and it was awful i was do disappointed some of the sides where missing and the main meal was cold this is the first time this has happened so disappointed cause i love their food

Oye!!! The Pond is closing its doors....been a stomping ground in this neck of the woods a long time..my 1st shot (successful shot i might add) at under age drinking 😋,18... close enough!! Thanks for some awesome memories with some pretty fantastic folks met along the path! Will certainly change the landscape of Main St. Sad to see this place go!!!

Steak was undercooked, service was slow and half the steak was grizzled and fat. Thank God there was alot of fries I could fill up on.

The Pond has always been our go to place to eat. Seriously re-thinking it after today's fiasco. The kitchen could not get our orders correct. Sent back twice.

This Grill has EXCELLENT food & service & prices. We drove from New Glasgow to The Pond for my husband's 69th birthday. That was his wish for his birthday meal.

Good wings wed night's just don't order any extra sauce for wings they ding you 1.00 for a tiny little container

It was busy but our food still came quite quick. The orders were correct and the food came hot. TLDR food was good, Service was good.

Best pizza in the Truro area Nova Scotia, except it's in Bible Hill, sorry Truro!So we are now in August of 2020, The Pond has moved location since my review above.We had a pizza tonight for supper and I am VERY SORRY, I am, to say that it is not as good as before the move, either they have a different cook or ovens, both my wife I were somewhat disappointed. The pizza's edge was thin and too crispy for my taste. The cheese on top was overcooked too. May be they are out of practice, I mean they been closed since before Covid-19 happened, we will try again later, give them time to iron out the kinks and see if things will improve. To us it WAS the best pizza.

The food is absolutely fantastic. I used to be a huge fan of Damascus until they closed and it's nice that I can get practically the same donair so close by. The only concern I have is the delivery charge, $8 just seems like a bit too much for a >5 minute drive.
